Preparation, curing and return to service
Preparation, root removal and flow control can take substantial work even when the cure is relatively quick. The full installation period includes the time needed before and after curing, including any temporary restrictions on connected facilities. Cure speed alone does not determine how long the job takes.
Inspecting the completed UV liner
The installation controls provide evidence about curing, while camera inspection examines the accessible finished surface and connections. Neither should be used to make claims about pipework outside the repair. The lined length is recorded clearly, with any additional testing for its intended service reported separately.

Is UV lining the same as every CIPP method?
UV is one curing method within CIPP. Ambient and heat-cured systems use different controls.
Can UV lining be used in any diameter?
The selected system has defined diameter and application limits, which must match the pipe.
Does UV curing remove the need for cleaning?
The bore still needs appropriate cleaning and assessment before installation.
Does UV curing make every pipe suitable for lining?
No. Collapse, unsuitable geometry or a serious fall problem can still rule it out.
Can facilities reopen as soon as the light pass finishes?
Use resumes after the specified cure and completion checks, including affected connection work.
