Cleaning can expose damage previously hidden behind deposits or roots. Once the bore is suitable, the chosen liner is positioned and cured under its system controls. Branch openings may need reopening afterwards, and their condition must be considered separately where the junction itself is defective.

Completion inspection and repair limits
We inspect the accessible finished lining and complete any specified tests. The result identifies the repaired section and any findings outside it. If preparation shows that the planned liner is unsuitable, the repair method is reconsidered before work continues.
Repair ends and branch connections
The liner starts and finishes on suitable pipe around the defect. An adjoining branch may still need separate attention even where the main bore can be lined continuously. Completion records identify the liner length and affected connections.

Is drain cleaning included in every lining job?
The preparation needed for the selected liner should be stated as part of the work rather than left as an assumption.
Will relining cure every recurring blockage?
Only faults addressed by the liner are repaired. Problems elsewhere, poor falls or unsuitable use can still cause blockages.
Can preparation change the planned lining repair?
Yes. Exposed damage can show that a different length or method is needed, which we discuss before proceeding.
Does the service include excavating a collapsed section?
Only if that enabling work is identified and agreed as part of the job.
