These Terms of Service form the agreement for using drainrelining.co.uk, a website operated for Drain Relining. They take effect whenever you visit the site, browse it, submit information through it or use it at all, and you accept them by using the website, by sending an enquiry or by asking us to introduce you to a supplier.
Fees and commission
Submitting an enquiry through this website (for example about relining, a patch repair or a collapsed drain) costs the customer nothing, and there is likewise no cost to the customer for being introduced to a supplier. Our income may come from suppliers or third-party companies, in the form of commission, referral income, marketing fees or sales income. This commercial arrangement does not add a website-use fee for the customer.
Who operates this website
This website is operated by Drain Relining. Our contact address is Suite 114b Business First, Davyfield Road, Blackburn, Lancashire BB1 2QY.
Purpose of the site
Drain Relining’s website offers general service information on no-dig drain relining, patch repairs and collapsed drain repair, plus contact routes and enquiry forms. Once you send in details, we may review them and pass the enquiry to whichever third-party supplier, contractor or service provider we believe may be a suitable fit for the work you have described. Every introduction depends on the information available to us at that moment. We do not guarantee that a supplier will be available or will take the job on, that it can be completed inside a particular timescale, or that a supplier’s price will meet your expectations.
Connector role
Drain Relining acts as a connector. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, it is not us who carry out the physical work or attend site as the appointed contractor, and we neither transport waste nor operate plant or equipment. Nor do we provide regulated disposal, cleaning, drainage, tank, silo or industrial services ourselves through this website.
Supplier responsibilities
The supplier appointed for the work is responsible for the following aspects of the job. That means its own quotations and advice, its risk assessments and method statements, its insurance, licences and permits, the staff, vehicles and equipment it sends, its site attendance and the quality of its work, together with waste transfer documentation, consignment documentation and aftercare. Before instructing any supplier, you should check that supplier’s credentials and terms.
Quotations and contracts
Quotations, estimates, orders, bookings, call-outs, site visits, service contracts and supply contracts are all agreements between you and the supplier, unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. Before you authorise work, you must read the supplier’s own terms and agree to them.
Pricing is the appointed supplier’s to control, and so are attendance windows, emergency call-out arrangements, minimum charges, cancellation terms, waste charges, disposal routes, permit requirements and any additional work. If the scope changes after a supplier reviews the site, the supplier may change its quotation or decline the work.
Supplier choice
We may use the details you give us when deciding which supplier appears to be a good fit for the job. Treat that as a judgement, not a guarantee: it does not mean the supplier is the only suitable one, the cheapest one or the best one in every circumstance. You remain responsible for deciding whether to instruct a supplier.
Opening hours and emergencies
Our normal opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm. Outside them we may be available for emergency work, provided a suitable supplier can respond. Submitting an emergency enquiry does not guarantee that a supplier will attend straight away, and while you are waiting for a response you should take appropriate safety, environmental and site-control steps.
Information about your drains
It is your responsibility to give accurate, complete and current information when you contact us or a supplier. This includes the drainage layout, the site address, access limits, photographs, hazards, known contamination, confined-space concerns, height or lifting constraints, quantities, the waste description and any deadline that affects the work.
Site access and documents
When a supplier is introduced, you must give it the information it needs to assess the job scope, site access, health and safety and environmental risk. This may include drainage or tank plans, previous survey results, photographs, parking arrangements, induction requirements, any site-specific rules, permit information, waste codes and Safety Data Sheets. A supplier may refuse to proceed if what it finds on site differs from the information provided, if it has a safety concern, if documentation it requires is missing, or if the work falls outside its permissions, insurance or competence.
Acceptable use
Nothing you submit may be false, misleading, unlawful or abusive, and you must not submit confidential third-party information without authority or information you do not have permission to share. You also must not use the website in a way that interferes with its operation, or that attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems, data or supplier information.
General information
Content on this website is general service information. It does not amount to engineering, legal, environmental, health and safety, waste-classification, tax, insurance or regulatory advice, and where the job requires it you should get advice from a competent professional or the appointed supplier. Although we try to keep the website’s information clear and useful, we do not promise that every page is complete, current or suitable for every site, and laws, guidance, supplier availability and operational requirements may change.
Independent suppliers
Third-party suppliers run independent businesses and are not employees of Drain Relining. Unless the law says we cannot exclude that responsibility, we are not responsible for any supplier’s acts, omissions, delays, advice, documentation, pricing, staff conduct, work quality, damage, loss, waste handling or regulatory compliance. Any issue that comes up after you instruct a supplier should be raised with that supplier directly, as soon as possible, because it falls to the supplier to investigate and resolve issues connected with its quotation, attendance, work or aftercare.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, which includes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, our role goes no further than operating the website and, where appropriate, making introductions. Disputes, losses, delays, damage, costs or claims between you and a third-party supplier arising after an introduction are not something we are legally responsible for, including where they relate to the supplier’s work, advice, attendance, contract terms, payment terms or service quality.
Website availability
The website, or any part of it, may be updated, suspended, withdrawn or changed by us at any time. There is no guarantee from us that the website, our enquiry forms, our telephone lines and email routes, or the supplier-matching process will be available at all times or free of interruption.
Enquiry details
Information you send in an enquiry may be used by us to respond to you and to introduce the enquiry to a suitable supplier. Our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, both linked from this website, give more detail about personal information.
Intellectual property
The text, design, branding, logos, page layouts and other website materials are owned by or licensed to the relevant rights holder. Printing and viewing pages is something you may do for your own internal decision-making. You must not, without permission, copy, scrape, republish, sell or reuse substantial parts of the website.
Changes to these terms
From time to time we may update these terms. When you use the website, the version then published on this page is the one that applies, and if you go on using the website after changes are published, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are subject to the laws of England and Wales. Jurisdiction rests with the courts of England and Wales, unless consumer protection law gives you a mandatory right to use another court.
Contact
Questions about this website or these terms can be raised through the contact details on the Contact page. For a question about work a supplier has done, contact that supplier directly first, since the quotation, the work and the aftercare are controlled by the supplier.
